What is Skinbooster treatment?
Skinbooster (水光针) treatment works by delivering stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) under the skin using a series of micro-injections. Stabilised HA is a gel-like substance found naturally in the body that maintains hydration in the skin by absorbing water and bringing deep skin hydration to the treated areas. By doing so, it smoothens the skin from the inside and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. At the same time, it creates luminous skin by hydrating your skin and improving its texture, firmness, and elasticity.
How Long Does Skinbooster Last?
The results of skinboosters can last anywhere from 9-12 months, depending on various factors such as the type of product used, the area treated, and individual skin characteristics.
The duration of the results may also vary depending on the number of sessions, the frequency of the treatment, and the maintenance routine. Generally, multiple sessions are recommended to achieve optimal results, with intervals of 1-2 months between treatments.

How often must i repeat the treatment?
Although you can see good result after the first session, we usually recommend that Skinbooster (水光针) treatment be done over 3 initial treatments with 4 weeks apart. Once the initial 3-treatment programme is completed, we recommend that you undergo one treatment every 6 months for long-lasting result.

Are there any side effects?

We offer post-treatment care in the clinic to help you soothe your skin and reduce the redness. You should expect the mild redness and swelling to resolve within a day or two.
Any preparation required before the treatment?
Avoid food and supplements that can thin the blood such as alcohol, NSAIDS, vitamin E, garlic, ginseng for 2 days before and after the treatment.
For best results, you should also avoid strenuous exercises for a day or two after the treatment.
