I believe in an evidence-based, holistic approach. Every patient is a unique piece of canvas, and treatments have to be tailored specially to their needs. I believe in listening to each patient's individual concerns, and advising them on the best possible treatments, and bringing out the best in them.
Dr Phoon Yi Shan
With over a decade of experience practicing full-time Aesthetic Medicine, Dr Phoon (or Dr Shan as she is sometimes affectionately known) has experienced and driven the evolution of Aesthetics Medicine over time.
She is passionate about beauty and balance, grace and symmetry, and believes in combining safe and effective treatments with artistry to enhance natural beauty.
Having graduated from National University of Singapore in 2003 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), she started out her medical career specialising in microsurgery and plastics. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 2007 and was also awarded Master of Medicine in Orthopaedics Surgery in 2008.
She is fully accredited in aesthetic procedures such as Botox, filler injections and cosmetic lasers, hair restoration as well as body contouring.
Not merely an established doctor, our petite Dr Phoon has a huge heart full of courage and love. After a near death experience in 2015, her tenacity and resilience strengthened her will to bring light to all she touches, and do her very best for every one of her patients.
She is an avid yogi, finding calm and reflection in the yoga journey. Both yoga and aesthetic medicine are art forms requiring concentration and discipline, homing her mental clarity to better perform intricate procedures like threadlifts and facial fillers.
She also believes in a good work life balance. A hands-on mum to a toddler and a puppy, as well as 7 god-kids, she spends as much time as she can outside of work with the family.
