At 660nm, it has greater selectivity of melanin rather than oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin. This means that Ruvy Touch Pigment Laser allows vessels to remain intact even after the treatment, therefore minimising potential side effects such as PIH that could occur as a result of inflammation.

How long will it take to see result?

The recommended treatment plan for epidermal pigmentation is to undergo 2 to 4 sessions with 4 weeks apart. You should see good results from the second session onwards.

Are there any side effects?

It is normal that the treated area may turn a little red immediately after the treatment. Over the next few days, the pigments may turn darker than usual. This will usually last for about 5 days. A crust will form and should drop off on its own to reveal a lighter color that is closer to your skin tone after each session.

During the 5-day post-treatment period, it is very important to stay away from the sun and protect the area from sun exposure as much as possible. You should also apply sunblock before you leave home during this time to ensure full recovery and get the best possible result from the treatment.
