Ageing gracefully isn’t about chasing perfection - it’s about honouring your natural beauty and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

Ageing gracefully, in its modern interpretation, encompasses looking after one’s body, mind and soul. One does not need to conform to unrealistic beauty standards – but only appreciate one’s own natural beauty and uniqueness, and simultaneously, be comfortable in one’s own skin.

Aesthetic Medicine has evolved much in the past years – from majeur aesthetique to petite aesthetique there has been a paradigm shift from drastic and invasive cosmetic procedures to more subtle aesthetic treatments while preserving the original appearance (”tweakments”, if you like).

Skin tone, texture, and hydration define radiance, not fleeting beauty trends on social media. Treatments that require minimally to non-invasive treatments must be picked, in conjunction with a doctor’s sound advice, with discern and the benefits versus risks carefully weighed.

These are the views of Dr Christopher Looi, who has traversed a fleeting timeline of 11 years in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. His focus is on improving his patients’ skin quality and facial contour, with a careful blend of both non-invasive to minimally invasive treatments.

Dr Looi holds two degrees – Bachelor’s Degree of Science, majoring in Microbiology (from University of Manitoba, Canada), and Bachelors’ Degree is Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics (from University College of Dublin-National University of Ireland).

After having trained in Emergency Medicine, Neonatology and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dr Looi made a switch to Aesthetic Medicine in 2014. He has been an MOH-certified doctor since 2007 and holds all the necessary Certificates of Competence from ADEG, Singapore.
